Embracing Imperfection: My Journey to Life Coaching

Hello, beautiful souls,

I’m Amanda Queen, and I want to share a piece of my journey with you today. I'm a woman who became a physician, who became a wife, who became a mom, who became a single mom. Through each role and every twist and turn, I've learned valuable lessons about resilience, self-discovery, and the power of transformation.

Like many of you, I've faced my fair share of challenges. From the relentless demands of a career in healthcare to the complexities of single parenthood, there have been moments when I've felt overwhelmed, lost, and unsure of my next steps. But amidst the chaos, I stumbled upon something truly remarkable - life coaching.

Now, I'll admit, I used to be skeptical about life coaching. I've always been a supporter of mental health and therapy, but coaching seemed a bit too "new age" and "woo woo" for my taste. However, in some of my darkest moments, it was life coaching that illuminated my path forward with clarity and courage.

Being a mom is tough. Being a mom who is also a doctor is even tougher. And being a single doctor mom? Well, let's just say it's a whole new level of challenge.

I've learned firsthand that if I'm not paying attention, it's all too easy to get swept away by the overwhelming tide of responsibilities and expectations. But through coaching, I've discovered the tools and strategies to navigate the ups and downs of this crazy journey called life.

It's because of the profound impact that coaching has had on my own life that I felt called to become a coach myself. I want to share these tools with my fellow doc moms, my sisters in strength, and empower them to stop merely enduring and start truly enjoying the lives they've worked so hard to create.

Now, I'll be the first to admit that I'm not perfect. Far from it, in fact. Just when I think I've got a handle on one aspect of my life, life happens, and I find myself back at square one, searching for my path forward once again. But each time, coaching helps me find my way to better - to a place of clarity, purpose, and joy.

So, my dear friends, if you're ready to stop merely surviving and start thriving, if you're tired of feeling overwhelmed and underappreciated, if you're yearning for a path forward that lights you up from the inside out, then I invite you to take the next step.
